Michael Knight is a man who does not exist. Michael Long was an undercover police officer doing his job. Shot in the head and left to die. He awoke with a new face and a new identity -- Michael Knight. Bequeathed the belief that "one man can make a difference" by the dying millionaire Wilton Knight.

Michael took advantage of the situation and gained a new family in the members of F.L.A.G. and the best partner a cop could dream of; the world's strongest, safest, fastest (and sometimes most annoying) car - K.I.T.T. Michael was taken under the wing of Devon Miles and groomed to fit in high society social events - or punch out a punk in a bar fight.

Michael is dedicated to helping the innocent and helpless victims of criminals who are untouchable as they operate above the law. Laying low to size up the situation, then zooming in to break the crime ring and then (of course) kiss all the pretty ladies!

Michael also always makes time to help wayward kids and give them a ride in his 'awesome' car to show up the snotty kids down the street. At 6 foot 4 inches tall, he's also ready to stop any punks from causing trouble.
